回到首都Quito了，放松的一天，在市中心闲逛，上下坡挺多的。
以上的照片都是Quito历史老城区，今早在附近的区域逛了逛，看到了这个城市现代化的另一面。街上有很多晨跑的，公园里也有很多户外健身的人们，上下坡越陡，越能看见骑行者，据说是因为几年前一个厄瓜多尔人赢得了环法自行车比赛，从此激发了当地人骑车锻炼的热情。等到9点半开门，去坐TelefériQo缆车上山看城市全景。本来只打算坐缆车上去看看景就下来的，但上去后发现今天天气不错，那就继续登山吧。从4000米慢慢爬到4300米左右决定返程了，不打算爬到顶峰了。下山时还看到了路边两只萌萌的小鹰，一点儿都不怕人。
昨天下午坐长途车去离Quito两个多小时路程的小城Otavalo。之前特意联系了当地的沙发主，计划好在6月21、22号来这儿，因为这里会在这几天庆祝一年一度的Inti(太阳) Raymi (节日)，当地的原住民会在夏至日照最长的这一天感谢太阳所带给他们的一切。这个节日起源于秘鲁的Cusco，但秘鲁的很多其他地方和厄瓜多尔的原住民也会庆祝。据说这个节日的庆祝活动会很盛大，唱歌跳舞游行啥的。但我昨晚到了街上啥动静都没有，被告知由于疫情市政府取消了庆祝活动，前两天还有警察打压小型庆祝的民众呢。沙发主说在旁边的一个小镇有可能会有庆祝活动，但也不确定。于是我上街边逛边问了好几个路人和店主，面包店的老板娘说最好别有庆祝活动，她不喜欢吵。路人甲说今年啥庆祝活动都没有，路人乙说明天晚上才有庆祝活动，沙发主他妈说6月24号才庆祝呢。咋没个准儿，一人一个说法呀？太晚了，街上挺安静的，明天白天再出去看看吧。
Otavalo城市里随处可见很有特色的街头涂鸦。下图右边几张是他们这儿最有名的Poncho和手工艺品露天市场，据说周六排场最大，平时摊位少一些。卖的基本都是羊驼毛做的围巾、披肩等。下面左边几张是这儿旁边小镇的San Pablo湖。本来没计划去Peguche瀑布，但我走之前沙发主说那儿可能有当地村民庆祝节日。我一看反正不远，那就去看一下吧。到了果真还是没有任何庆祝活动，不过在瀑布附近徒步的时候有了意外的惊喜，近距离偶遇草泥马。这拴着绳儿一看就是为了跟游客拍照赚钱的，但现在估计正休息放风呢，被我撞见了。边吃草边看镜头照相，好呆萌啊。
前两天爬完雪山回到基多之后，因为太累了，晚上在旅店附近随便找了个饭馆，位于特别游客化的区域，环境不错，里面还有当地人弹奏当地音乐的，点的seco de chivo炖羊肉吃的时候就有点儿怪怪的味道，没想到吃完回去休息肚子马上就感觉不舒服。估计是爬雪山受凉了抵抗力低，再加上食物中毒，吐出来就好受多了。但第二天早上还是有些不适，于是这两天一直吃的是全麦面包。到了Otavalo第二天好受多了，尝了街头冰棍casero，tostada和mote con chicharron。
