蒙特利尔
本来是打算周末去蒙特利尔的，因为我表哥一家只有周末比较有空，但看天气预报发现周末会下雨，于是周三临时决定周四一大早去蒙特利尔。早上接上了印度朋友出发了，高速路上到处都是Tim Hortons，这是加拿大最大的咖啡店，比星巴克、赛百味多多了。一路上我问了他很多关于印度种姓制度、婚姻、教育、歧视、女权等的话题的问题。因为他刚搬来加拿大四个月，之前从未离开过印度，有很多语言文化上不了解的地方。我想想我刚来美国读书的时候也这样儿，于是我跟他分享了不少关于中国、美国语言文化的知识。
自开进了魁北克省，所有路标就变成法语了，基本上没有英语，因为魁北克的官方语言是法语。开了六个小时到了蒙特利尔市中心，直接开去吃这儿的特色食物poutine。到了朋友推荐的这个饭馆，周四中午1点多门口还排了长队，我们不想等，于是就点了外带。poutine其实就是炸薯条，上面撒上肉汁和有嚼劲儿的奶酪块儿。这就是卡路里炸弹，特别当饱，吃完到晚上还是特别撑得慌，尝一次就好了。
下午到了住在离市中心40分钟左右的表哥家，见了十年没见的表哥和从未见过的他七岁大的儿子。他们一家带我去吃了家新疆菜，正好是斋月的最后一天，晚上七八点日落之后来的客人特别多。第二天早上去附近的公园跑步，周围环境特别好。
回来后开车去市中心接上朋友，去了Jean-Talon当地市场，这里卖什么的都有，小贩们都特别热情。一个卖各种枫糖纪念品的老奶奶招呼我跟朋友过去，给我们品尝了各种味道的枫糖浆和一些其他枫糖制品。我虽然没当时马上买任何东西，她也还是很高兴地让我们品尝。后来转悠回来时买了一小瓶枫糖浆，她还问我们要不要尝尝别的。之后路过很多别的小摊位时，店主也会很热情的给我们介绍他们的产品。之后路过个水果摊时，小贩招呼我们过去，直接白给了我们个桔子吃。
之后去了这里最大的公园Monte Royal，在小山上能看到城市全景。
在蒙特利尔市区里停车很不方便，在哪儿都要交停车费，就算在很多并非市中心的住宅区接上，没有那片儿住宅区的对应号码的停车证，白天都不可以停车，一般都晚上11点到早上9点才能无限制停车。怪不得有很多骑车通勤的人，城市里哪儿都有专门的自行车车道。中午去吃了当地有名的朋友推荐的Schwartz’s Deli的smoked meat三明治，但并没觉得有什么特别的。下午继续在市里转悠，路过了中国城，比多伦多的中国城小很多，但牌楼旁边的京剧壁画很有特色。
之后去了 Old Port，这儿有很多古老的建筑，很有身处欧洲的感觉。怪不得蒙特利尔也被称作“小巴黎”。
晚上跟表哥一家又去吃了家川菜馆，点了水煮鱼、毛血旺、干锅菜花和茄子豆腐煲，都很正宗。
Jean-Drapeau公园是沿岸湖中的一个小岛，吃完晚饭开车回来路过，顺便停下照了点儿相，夜景很美。
