Finally warm enough to go for a morning run! This was the first and only run on this trip. After I went to Catedral de Sevilla Seville Cathedral, I checked online that it was supposed to open at 11:00 and charged 10 euros, but when I passed one of the gates at 8:00, a beggar at the door opened the door and said that I could enter. Because there is a worship ceremony every hour, all the locals go, and fortunately I didn't bring any bags like a tourist, so I went in and visited a circle and no one charged the tickets. I saved the ticket money and came out and gave a few euros to the beggar. If he hadn't told me that I could go in, I wouldn't have avoided the ticket. It felt like a scene from Game of Thrones everywhere.

After coming out of the cathedral, I went to visit Catedral de Sevilla, one of the filming locations of Game of Thrones, with the Miami girl I met at the restaurant last night. Luckily there was a queue before the doors opened. Originally a Moorish fortress, here you can see both Gothic architectural elements and Islamic clay architectural styles. After having lunch together, I continued to wander the city by myself, going to the Alameda de Hercules and Mercado de Feria markets.

Go to Las Setas de Sevilla with Miami girls before sunset. The urban parasol is a landmark in the city center, like a giant mushroom cloud. The locals on the SF bus recommended me to go to a "free" flamenco bar, as long as you buy something to drink or eat. I checked and found that it was closed on Mondays. The guy at the front desk of the hostel I stayed in recommended another similar place, so I went to see the flamenco dance with that Miami girl. Sitting across the table is a father and daughter from Canada who just went to Portugal to play and gave me a lot of recommendations.
Because we came early, we got the best seat in the front row and enjoyed the flamenco dance performance up close. The formation of flamenco was deeply influenced by the Moors and Jews in the Andalusian region of southern Spain, and also absorbed a large number of Gypsies artistic elements. I used to think that flamenco was just dance, but today I know that it includes three elements: dancers, singers and accompanists. Although most of the audience are tourists and there are not many locals, it still feels more interesting than going to the theater to see flamenco on the big stage. This performance was the perfect ending to my last day in Spain.
