Segovia

The small city of Segovia, which is super beautiful on cloudy days, is located north of Madrid. The landmark building is the Roman Aqueduct Bridge, supported by nearly 170 arches, which is too domineering. Segovia Castle is said to be the prototype of Snow White's castle.

I am an old man who wakes up early and has both advantages and disadvantages: the advantage is that I took the train from Madrid to arrive here after 8 o'clock. I feel that I am the only tourist on the street except for the locals. Walking in the old city is very relaxing. I bought it at noon. When I left the train ticket for the return trip, I saw waves of tourists coming one after another. The downside is that this early schedule does not match the habits of the Spaniards. The locals usually have lunch at two o'clock in the afternoon and dinner after eight or nine o'clock.

The local specialty is roasted suckling pig cochinillo. I went to several restaurants and asked them one by one after ten o'clock, and found that they didn't prepare this dish until after a little. Because I have to take the train back to Madrid at noon, I have to miss the most famous local food. If I can’t eat it, let’s take a photo and keep it as a memory.
