Everest Base Camp

I have been hanging out with a carload of southerners for more than two weeks since I came out to play. Today, in the new regiment at the Everest Base Camp, I finally met a Beijing girl of the same age and a few northeastern silver children. too excited! You can chat freely, vividly, and without hindrance! It doesn't mean racial discrimination. They are all freelancers and flew from Beijing to Lhasa together. Unlike us who drove from Chengdu and slowly adapted to the altitude, they had to get used to the altitude. We went all the way to Yamdrok Yongcuo and hiked for an hour or two on a glacier whose name I forgot.

After two days from Lhasa, I finally arrived at Mount Everest Base Camp. I heard that it has been raining and cloudy the past few days, and I can't see anything. Our character burst out and saw the panoramic view of Mount Everest, which was very shocking! I rented a military coat, but fortunately I bought gloves and a wool cap in Lhasa, otherwise I would really freeze to death.

At night, I slept in the tent of the Tibetan home at the base camp, and the temperature inside and outside the tent was estimated to be below zero. The first time I slept in the Chase shop, I didn't wash my face, I didn't brush my teeth, I slept in a coat and a quilt and then a coat. The tour guide on the bus from Lhasa kept telling us stories of tourists who died at the base camp because of lack of oxygen. In fact, it was to let us spend money to rent oxygen cylinders. We ended up with almost no one to rent. There was no hypoxia and no headache at the base camp that night, but I just couldn't sleep. I don't know when I finally fell asleep, but I woke up several times in the middle. The pictures of the starry sky are all stolen from outside SLR photography enthusiasts, but they are still not comparable to the starry sky seen with the naked eye.

The next morning was still sunny, and I went to a river next to the base camp to brush my teeth and wash my face. The temperature of the water was piercing. On the second day on our way back to Lhasa from the base camp, the tour guide showed us the photos his friend had just sent from the base camp: it was cloudy and snowy. We really caught up with the good weather to be lucky enough to see Mount Everest. The team consisted of thirteen people, very happy to meet funny and lovely brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters. Well worth the trip!
