Leshan, Mount Emei

Leave Chongqing to see the Leshan Giant Buddha. The Leshan Giant Buddha was built in the Tang Dynasty at the confluence of the three rivers. In ancient times, the water here was so fierce that it often caused tragedies of shipwreck and human death. In order to reduce the water potential and save all sentient beings, Zen Master Haitong summoned manpower and material resources to build a giant Buddha to ensure safety. Today is not a holiday, and the summer vacation has not yet arrived, but there are still queues everywhere. It depends on the line of Leshan Giant Buddha starting from the top, and there is no end to the line. When I finally got to see the top of the Buddha's head, I found that there were more people waiting in line to go down the mountain to visit the Buddha. The head of the Buddha was covered with grass. After a long time, I finally got down to the feet of the Buddha, and found that I was not as tall as the Buddha's toes. No wonder such a huge project took 90 years to complete.

On the bus from Leshan to Emei, I sat a little girl in the front seat, also carrying a big backpack alone. I didn't speak along the way, and when I got to the station, I mustered up the courage to talk to her, and asked her if she was traveling alone, and if she had found a place to stay in Mount Emei. After chatting for a few words, it felt like a good chat, so we decided to share the hotel accommodation expenses together for the two nights here. After getting off the bus, we found a hotel, put down our luggage, and went to find a place to have dinner together. We walked and chatted, and the more we talked, the more we found out that the experience was similar. She is from Hong Kong and has been playing alone in the mainland for two months. The places I have traveled along the way are basically the same. She also went to Zhangye Dunhuang Crescent Spring, the base camp of Mt. Everest in Tibet, Sichuan. She left Hong Kong before and went to the UK for a working holiday for two years. She just resigned and traveled back to China. The two of us found a restaurant on the street, and we ate Leshan stilted beef and Leshan old popsicles together. Climb Mount Emei together tomorrow!

I got up early in the morning and left the big backpack at the hotel last night, and carried a small bag to climb Mount Emei. We started climbing from Wannian Temple around 9:00 in the morning, and arrived at the Golden Summit around 4:00 pm without taking the cable car. The scenery along the way is good and I saw a lot of monkeys. On the stone tablet of Doulongba, I saw an astonishing message: Xiaoqing once wanted to marry the white lady? ! My three views have been subverted. It was misty and rainy when we arrived at the Golden Summit of Mt. Emei. Today we climbed for more than 7 hours and climbed a lot of steps!

The next morning at five o'clock in the morning to see the sunrise at Emei Jinding, it was foggy, where is the sun? I didn't see the sunrise, but I saw a large group of monkeys on the way down the mountain. When I took a photo with the monkey, I was inexplicably touched. At that moment, I subconsciously retracted my hand and was suddenly frightened. Then I stretched my finger back, and the little monkey stretched out his soft little fleshy hand, and finally held my finger. After I walked away, several female tourists reached out to take a photo with him, but this monkey and bird didn't care about them anymore, and even snatched their food. I immediately felt favored by the Monkey King.
