Huangshan, Hongcun

The four wonders of Huangshan: strange pines, strange rocks, sea of clouds and hot springs. Are you sure the fog is not a must? I can only comfort myself that the fog is so artistic.

The downside of climbing the mountain before sunrise is that it’s pitch black, you can’t see the road signs, and it takes a long time to realize it after passing Feilaishi. Watching the sunrise is useless, cloudy and light rain and fog.

I climbed Tiandu Peak together with the little girl who shared the same room in the hotel on Huangshan Mountain last night. From the old crossing to the new crossing, it is steeper than Huashan Mountain, and when I really walked up to it, my legs felt weak and trembled. It is actually good to be invisible in the thick fog, because you can't see how high and dangerous it is below.

On the way down Tiandu Peak, I met a couple. After going down the mountain together, I found that the last direct bus to Hongcun had just left. This kind couple who came to play by car let us take their car. I am really grateful!

Before the tour group comes in, go to Hongcun in the early morning at six o'clock. It is as beautiful as an ink painting. "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was filmed in Moon Marsh, and there was a dog staring at Moon Marsh solemnly beside it.

Tachuan, it's too early. More fall colors in two weeks. The local specialties of Tunxi Old Street and Hongcun Village: moldy tofu, stinky mandarin fish, Huangshan biscuit (dried plum vegetable cake, crab shell yellow), rice wine and tea.
