Cat Ba Island, Halong Bay

Take the bus at 8 o'clock in the morning and then take the ferry to Cat Ba Island. Yesterday, I was still in the mountains with several layers of 10 degrees, but today I went to the seaside where the temperature was almost 30 degrees, and I was still a little uncomfortable. On the bus from Hanoi, I met two donkey friends. One is a Florida native from the United States who can speak four languages and has studied Chinese for a year. He used to be a middle school teacher. There is also a Frenchman who can only speak French and is not very fluent in English. Multilingual Americans and non-multilingual Europeans are rare species. Once again Google Translate came in handy. We ate a vegetarian meal at a Buddhist restaurant at noon, and then the American brother brought a Frisbee and taught us how to play Ultimate Frisbee. Because there are only three people, he can only make up new rules, jumping on both sides. After running barefoot on the beach for an hour, I felt that the skin on the soles of my feet had thickened again. In the evening, I went to an Italian restaurant to eat carbonara pasta.

The next morning, go on a day trip to Halong Bay, Halong Bay. Kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing. In the end, climbing on Monkey Island is the most interesting. Before going out this morning, I asked the locals if they should bring a pair of sneakers, can they just wear sandals? People say no problem. As a result, when we arrived at Monkey Island and started climbing, we realized that it was almost rock climbing! Hands and feet must be used together. The stones are very sharp, I don't know how I climbed up in sandals, but the scenery above is really beautiful! On Monkey Island, the monkeys are worthy of being kings. After grabbing the tourists' food, the monkeys began to eat and drink: bananas, Snickers bars, beer. A French girl on the same boat almost won the jackpot. First, her heel was scratched by coral, and then her thigh was bitten by a monkey. The worst thing was that the bag was not zipped up, and the mobile phone inside was snatched by the monkey. I went online to play around, and it is estimated that I will have to take a few selfies by then. She guessed that she would hate monkeys for the rest of her life!
