Burren, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher

In the morning, my uncle took me to Burren, Doolin and the famous Cliffs of Moher in the south of Galway. In the past few days, the luck is so good that there is sunshine, and the beautiful scenery continues along the way. Passing by a few schools on the way, I found that they arrived at school quite late, around nine o'clock in the morning and finished school at three o'clock in the afternoon. I said that the United States is two hours longer than here, and Chinese students spend more time in school. Of course, the uncle can’t let go of the opportunity to make fun of Americans, saying that Americans are stupid. Of course, they should study more. 24 hours of school time is not too much.

When I was approaching Doolin, I saw two backpackers on the side of the road. The uncle took the initiative to stop and asked them where they were going and if they wanted to take a ride along the way. The two got into the car, and they chatted about two college students from Idaho, USA, who were coming to Ireland for two weeks. After the two left their luggage at the hotel, they took our car to Cliffs of Moher. The uncle said that he knew a way to enter without buying tickets for the main entrance of the scenic spot. I drove around to a small path at the back, but found that a fence gate was locked. At this time, I saw another car coming. He went down and asked the owner of this farm. It was three miles away from the village where the uncle lived. It's been an hour, but they chatted a few words and found that they had a mutual friend. The farmer immediately unlocked it and let us drive in. His private property is the road leading to Cliffs of Moher.

After visiting the Great Cliff, we sent the two of them back near their hotel. Then my uncle sent me to the long-distance station in the nearby town of Gort. In the past few days, in addition to thanking the uncle for inviting him to dinner, I have to give him some gas money before leaving, because I learned that the oil price in Europe also rose sharply during the epidemic, but the uncle didn’t want it anyway, saying that he had the opportunity to ask an uncle like me. Foreign tourists from all over the world show the beauty and culture of their hometown. As long as they leave a good impression and experience on me, he will be very happy and grateful. After saying goodbye to my uncle, I took a bus for an hour and a half to Limerick and changed trains, and then took another two hours to Killarney in the south, passing through many lovely small towns along the way.

In the evening, I arrived at the youth hostel in Killarney. There were two French people who had just graduated from university and two Germans who had just graduated from high school. Every time I live in a youth hostel, I feel like I am the oldest.
